Pryce is 5!

I was so excited to do Pryce's 5 year pictures because he is getting to the age when it gets fun! He had some ideas for me and of course I had some ideas for him so together we made quite the team! This little man is the reason I developed such an obsession with photography. The day he was born I realized I wanted to capture every little detail of his life and if you were to look at our old photo albums I pretty much captured everything possible with both of my children and I am so happy I did because they have grown up so fast! These 5 years have been the fastest years of my life... but definitely the best! I LOVE being a Mom!! Here are a few shots of my little man Pryce... ENJOY! :)

Welcome Taylor Jo...

Little Miss Taylor Jo has been on the newborn schedule for a long time so I was so excited to hear that she had arrived and everyone was doing well! I love pre-scheduled newborns because I get to be involved in the whole pregnancy thing and I am usually up-to-date on the doctors appointments, birth, and all of that FUN stuff! ;) Taylor Jo was 10 days old for our session which is the PERFECT age. She wasn't real sleepy for the session (her Mom claims she never is) but I knew she couldn't stay awake forever! Here are a few of my favorite shots of Taylor Jo... ENJOY!

Wyatt... he's 2!

It has been a year since I have seen Wyatt and let me just tell you he gained a lot of speed during that short time! He went from being a little baby who was completely content with sitting to a little boy who will do anything but sit! Wyatt is such a doll, he actually reminds me of those precious moment dolls! :) I am absolutely in love with those big brown eyes and who could resist those ADORABLE curls! Grant and Big Brother Calvin...

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting 11 day old Grant and his big brother Calvin. These little guys made the trip all the way from Firestone so I wasn't sure how the session was going to go after being couped up in a car for that long! Luckily they did GREAT! :) While we were waiting for Grant to get into his "putty" stage I decided to snap some pictures of Calvin. He took a little while to warm up to the camera but luckily I had lots of boy toys to make him give me some adorable smiles! ;) Here are a few of my favorite shots of Grant and his big brother Calvin... My whole family...

Well, I am only about a month behind on posting my families pictures but I guess that's just one of the drawbacks of being related to the photographer! For my Grandpa's 86th birthday the entire family got together for some much needed family pictures! We had a beautiful morning and luckily everyone was able to make it! Our good family friend Kathy took the pictures for us... I must say it felt odd being on the other side of the camera! ;) Here is the big family photo...

Thanks Kathy for helping us out! I am so glad you were in charge of this group... I wouldn't have wanted to deal with some of those ornery people! ;)

Lyla Rae...

Lyla Rae made the trip from Canada last week to see us so of course I had to break out the camera! I had originally planned on only taking 5 pictures.... yeah right! ;) Five then turned into 25, 35, 45... and at 55 I finally said enough! I couldn't help myself because I must say she is probably one of the prettiest little girls I have ever seen! Here are a few of my favorite shots of the gorgeous Miss Lyla! Enjoy! ;)

I am so glad we got to see all of you! Lyla is so stinkin cute!!!!!!! I am sure you are having a LONNNGGGG trip back to Canada but hopefully you are about home! Someday we might make the trip but after being here I am sure you understand why Paycen is not the best traveler! :)

Happy Birthday Pryce!

Pryce celebrated the BIG 5 on Monday so of course we had to have a BIG cake! He informed me that he wanted a monster truck cake that was better than Paycen's rattlesnake cake... oh great! I kind of just wanted to buy a pan and do it that way but he wanted a really taLL one... yikes! I thought long and hard and eventually came up with an idea. It was a lot of work but he loved it! Here is the giant monster truck cake... ENJOY! ;)

For those of you who are wondering if we found a Siamese kitten for Pryce... WE DID! On his birthday I got a call and someone had found one for us! YAY! Thanks Kim!!!!! ;) He is a Siamese Ragdoll mix so he is GORGEOUS! They are in love with each other so it was worth all the searching! Pryce is going to call him Max...

Thanks to all the people who tried to help us find a kitten! I'm so glad we were able to make his birthday wish come true... he was sooooo happy! ;)

Abbey...

It has been a couple of years since I have photographed Abbey and I must say she has grown into quite the lady! Little girls are so much fun... painted nails, curls, bows, jewelry, and such CUTE clothes! It almost makes me think I want one! :) Abbey is gorgeous, the camera LOVES her, and I love photographing her! I have so many favorite shots of Abbey I am not even sure which one's to post! Here are just a few... ENJOY! :)

Dylan... SLOW DOWN!

It is so hard for me to believe that little Mr. Dylan is already ONE! I have had the privelage of photographing Dylan since he was 6 days old and have loved watching him grow up. It has went soooooo fast! I'm pretty sure that Mom might have given Dylan some candy for breakfast the day of our session because he was in high gear the whole session!:) My camera is pretty darned fast but it definitely had a hard time keeping up with the little turkey. What can I say... he is ALL BOY ALREADY!!! Mom was worried that we didn't get anything but after looking at his proofs she can RELAX!! ;) Here are a few of my favorite shots of Dylan... ENJOY! :)
