We're back!

Just wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know we made it back from our big South Dakota trip! Pryce did really well but didn't manage to place in the top 5 so unfortunately he didn't get to bring home a giant trophy.:( I think he was a little shocked by all the people... I know I was! I felt sick because I was so nervous and I didn't even have to do anything!! And because I can't post without a picture... here are a few from the big day! ENJOY! ;)

He's headed to Nationals!

I just wanted to post a little note to let everyone know that Pryce is headed to the National Pedal Tractor Pull in Mitchell, South Dakota!!! Of course we are excited so I had to do a little bragging! :) He managed to place 2nd locally, and 3rd at the state level so we are off to South Dakota for his final pull this Saturday! YAY! Wish him luck! :) He is definitely excited about his trophy so of course I had to post some pictures... ENJOY! :)

He's got his "game face" on... he is ready to compete! (Actually he is just excited to stay in the motel)! :)

Welcome Kalin Drew...

Kalin made the journey from Fort Collins last week to have some newborn pictures done. He was one month old for our session so we weren't sure how smooth it was going to go since he was a little older. Luckily, Kalin didn't sleep to good the night before the session so he was quite worn out for me! YAY! :) We tried a bunch of new things with this little guy and I LOVE how they turned out!!! I don't know what I would do without my Grandma Schmidt, she finds the coolest stuff for me to use! I have been trying to think of a way to use this old scale and I finally came up with the perfect idea... I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!!!!! Thanks GRANDMA!!!!

Kalin is definitely the most smiley baby I have ever photographed! He just had the most content look on his face all the time... I think he is glad to be here. ;)

Jory...

In my mind Jory should be about 5 years old but I guess she has grown up! I can remember her baby shower like it was yesterday... I think I am getting OLD! Jory was AWESOME to work with, she came with ideas and was really good about telling me what she wanted. We had a great time during our session and she ended up with so many cool pictures. I love doing first birthday pictures because little one's are always so much fun at that age! Blake had the best personality and some beautiful blue eyes to go with it! Welcome Madilyn Grace...

I have a feeling Miss Madilyn Grace might be a little party animal! I was so excited to get to meet Madilyn when she was only 4 days old because I just knew that she would sleep through the entire session... WRONG! We tried everything to get her to sleep but she was ready to party! Luckily after about 2 hours of waiting she decided to take a little cat nap so I snapped like CRAZY!!! Jaylyn...

When I saw Jaylyn, I knew it was going to be a fun session. I couldn't help but fall in LOVE with her BIG brown eyes! She has the most adorable face and was a pretty easy going kid for being 2! She was a little chatter box but I loved listening to her... she has the cutest voice! I have known Jaylyn's mom for a long time... actually she hooked me and my husband up! I must say she knew how to play cupid!;) I think even she was surprised when we announced we were getting married only 17 days after meeting... whew nuts huh?!
